Even the best plan can fall apart, and the local police are just waiting for a chance to put you in handcuffs. Remember to keep your eyes around your head. Start with small family sedans and make gradual steps towards mastery, which will allow you to steal the coolest sports cars. Make sure to work on cars between robbing buildings. Can you handle the pressure, or will you panic? You don’t have much time, so you’ll need to immediately assess which item to take and which one to leave. Then you just need to prepare a strategy and it’s gone time. But before you do, examine the surroundings: find out when the building empties out, learn the tenants’ or the employees’ schedule. The creators of Thief Simulator 2 have prepared three unique locations with houses, banks, restaurants, and other special places that you’ll get to strip of money, valuables, and other items. The tools of your trade include a crowbar and binoculars, as well as advanced equipment that becomes available as you progress, such as a laptop for hacking through security systems. Together with newly acquired skills, they will pave the way to expensive items, which you can then sell on the black market. Gain levels and unlock new possibilities. This is how you’ll gain the experience required to access more and more risky – and most importantly, more profitable – jobs. In order to get some practice, you’ll start with petty theft. Know that a thief’s trade is not a piece of cake. If there's a decent amount of content I'll give it a download, but if it's just an hour or two then I'll probably wait for a few more releases so I don't spoil it for myself.Thief Simulator 2 will transport you to a world full of valuables, expensive cars, and rustling banknotes. That's not always obvious, and it's not something a lot of people realize unless they have an understanding of how games are developed.īest of luck with the game, I look forward to trying this one. Ironically, multiple protagonists actually means the game would have *fewer* gameplay options for each, and a single protagonist means the game will have *more* options available to the player. The concept sounds great, and as you can probably tell from my username I'm a massive fan of adult interactive fiction so text-heavy games are perfect for me if the writing is decent.Īs an aside, I truly appreciate the fact that you're trying to focus on a male MC instead of trying to juggle multiple protagonist options. I absolutely love the sound of this, I just don't want to "spoil" the experience for myself by playing it too early in the development cycle. How much content is here? I've read through the comments in the thread and it does sound like there's a decent amount of stuff to explore, but how many hours could one expect to get out of this release? Would it be something you could fully explore within 2-3 hours, or would you need multiple play sessions to see everything the game has to offer? Point is, I don't have the first game as a frame of reference to compare this one to. I don't think I ever really played the first game, though I'm sure I downloaded it at some point and tried it out but just didn't put much time into it.
